CARLOS AND CARLOS
World class talent from Latin America and world music from around the globe!
Carlos Odria and Carlos Silva
“Carlos & Carlos” is an exciting, dynamic, acoustic guitar duo that performs traditional and contemporary Latin American styles. They have played at the Florida Governor’s Mansion and at many metropolitan symphony halls and university venues all over Florida and the southeast. They got a standing ovation on the main stage at the Florida Folk Festival and now they are coming back to White Springs! Both members of this duo are accomplished performers in their own right. When they perform together it is an amazing and exciting fusion of talent! They skillfully incorporate different techniques and musical influences borrowed from Spanish, Mexican, Brazilian, Afro-Peruvian, Andean, and Afro-Caribbean traditions. Through their crafted improvisations and arrangements of popular pieces and originals, the duo explores contemporary pan-Latino sounds as well as their many intersections with other styles/rhythms from around the world.
